Pastrami Queen may not serve up the supreme leader of hot pastrami sandwiches, but it sure is tasty with very good spices and consistency. Their sandwich featured the thickest cut of pastrami I've seen to date with excellent spicing (although still below 2nd Ave). Some pieces were creamier than others, while some seemed a bit drier. Tied with 2nd Ave for the priciest sandwich, Pastrami Queen should have (over-)stuffed the sandwich a bit more. It looks fuller than it is because of all the space between the thick-cut pastrami. My biggest complaint would be with the rye bread's hard crust and overall dry, non-soft texture, which doesn't meld well with the pastrami.
Also, the knishes are beyond enormous. My friend got a meat knish, which has ground pastrami mixed in with the potato filling. I didn't really care for it.

P.S. I think I most enjoyed the old photo of Kishke King in Brooklyn. It's nice to know that there was a more alliterative deli monarch.
